My name is Diana, and… I call myself The Dummy Cook.
I live in Las Vegas with my husband and our two teenage daughters.
For 20 years, my life as a business owner meant working 10-12 hour days, almost every day. I had absolutely no time to cook. I knew the menu from Taco Bell, Panda Express, and In-N-Out better than I knew my own kitchen! My family relied on takeout, and I honestly felt stuck.
When I finally transitioned to working from home, the running joke was: “But… what are you going to cook?” I was planning on learning the basics, but then a trip to Miami changed everything. A friend introduced me to her Thermomix, and I was floored.
I did some research and couldn’t believe this appliance has been famous in Europe for over 50 years! I called some friends abroad to ask about it, and it turned out almost all of them already owned one and loved it.
I bought my Thermomix in August 2021, and it completely changed my life. I went from a fast-food regular to cooking gourmet meals EVERY DAY! I’m eating healthier, saving money on groceries, and my girls actually love my cooking now. Plus, I’ve become the person who hosts dinner parties just for fun (who am I?!).
I cannot recommend it enough—whether you are a pro chef or a total “dummy” like I was.
